Am I 100% eating raw food?

I used to work with etiquettes in the past, which were most of the time digital, so 1 or 0, I’m in, or I’m not, I eat raw or I don't eat raw, I’m vegan or I’m not vegan, there is no in between. Over time I learned that it doesn’t work that way for me and it is just a too high weight on the shoulders. I feel that knowing for myself that I try at every given moment do the best I can, works way better and is much more appropriate.There will always be a different or (better).

I’m not saying that I do just randomly as I feel, it is more that, I know what is best for me, I will try to strive to do that all the time, now if at a certain point I cannot do that, then I’m fine with that. Of course I’m not talking about animal hurting here, it’s not like for that one day I’ll eat meat, meat and everything related to animal suffering is really out of the question. It’s more like, if the family wants to eat a cooked plant based lasagna, do I eat with them or really insist on eating my raw food alternative only in order to strive to do it 100%.

In the beginning I used to eat raw food alternative only. Since I knew how good it is for me, I really thought it was the only way forward and the only possibility.

I’ve eaten cooked vegan food before, so what will that one time change? Can certainly be seen as an attitude of being weak. For me it is not about weak or strong, it’s about at a given time, do everything I can, that I feel is best for me and that attitude made my life way easier.


That experience also convinced me even further in my strong preference for raw food. It really allowed me to compare very directly different ways of eating and the behaviour they have on me.

A little comparison of my personal experience;

So for me, I’m more than 100% convinced that raw food has much more advantages in all kinds of directions over the cooked alternative. Does it mean I never eat cooked food? No, not at all, I’m not really naturally attracted to it and if I’ve a raw food alternative I’ll go definitely for that one . Now sometimes circumstances quite often social, so a family, friends, colleague... diner or just a new tasting experience makes me go for cooked vegan food. At those moments I try to be 100% present, have the experience and feel all the effects it has on my taste and body.

Nothing above the great plant based whole raw food for me!
