Raw food vegan provided me a life changing experience!
Quite often I receive the question, what changed, explain?
Well, everything changed!
I’ll try to evaporate them all on this blog, now if you wonder how it influence some subjects that you might wonder and that I didn’t cover yet, please ask and reach out, more than welcome!

At some point, I believe that every living being on earth somehow, just like me, wants to make the conscience free. It is very energy consuming when I separate with someone around a wrong understanding. It is very difficult to let go of that. I want things to at least be in line with my inner self. I want to be at peace with myself. I can accept what people think of me, now they can't think that because I have expressed myself wrong, that I have the feeling that I need to correct it immediately.
Personally I think that every violent or harmful act I do stays with me until I find inner peace. Quiet time-consuming activity and one of the most important reasons why 'Ahimsa' is so logical for me.
With that belief, I think we are very much influenced by our conscience about things we think we do well, are we really?
The environment, the planet and pollution are a good example of that. I often hear, it is really a mess what people here on earth do, I don't do that, I;
Have an electric car
Use wind energy
Use solar energy
Go by plane
Instead, use a drone
…
Is this what we want?
Is this the solution to the problems?
Do we want a landscape full of windmills, photovoltaic panels, etc.....?
Isn't the problem that we use the car too much, instead of the wrong car?
Isn't the problem the problem that we want to go too fast, instead of trying to find things that make us go faster?
Isn't the problem that we use too much energy, rather than the wrong energy?
...
Of course, this will probably initially be easier for the rich to wonder about these questions.
Now a road is a road, if there is a traffic jam, it is for everyone.
So what if I can do something in 10 minutes by bike, or 20 minutes walking and in 2 hours by car, what would I choose?
What if water, whole food plants and fruit have 5% tax and all other food 60% tax, what would I choose?
What if electricity is even more expensive than now, what would I do?
...
I strongly believe that we need to do something at the root, because most of the things we (which I will be part of) don't want this change. We'll probably demonstrate against it soon.
With everything I have seen so far, I do believe that discouraging at the root, is probably the only thing that will really make us change, if of course we want the change.....
So is discouraging the only thing that can save us? Or what is?
By a better world I really mean my life, the life of other living beings and the planet. This is a win-win change for everyone. Not only for those who make money based on my artificially stimulated expenses.
Those who have already read some posts on this blog will probably say, I'm sure he will say: remove animal products from my diet. Although I think it's probably a very good answer, I want to highlight something else. Because I've explained very often how to get away from animal products, I want to draw attention to something else here.
Something for the body, and also for a better world and planet tomorrow.
I have understood quite quickly (well, I could say it started with that, as can be read here that it might be a good thing to leave behind processed food.
I often hear, I agree with Steven, I never eat processed food. The majority of people link processed food to ready-made dishes that I just have to heat up in the microwave. What they are, now this is much bigger than that. The one I mention here as processed food to leave, is much more than just those ready-made dishes.
In fact, if I buy something that is not whole food vegetables or fruit, it is somehow processed food. The best known that most people do not place under this category are;
Bread
Cheese
Butter
Pasta
Biscuits
Sodas
Sausage
Sauce
Food flavored
Gummy Bears
...
Why should I avoid them?
They are usually made with ingredients that are not good for me (the nutritional level of these products is very low).
They contain ingredients that make me long for more of the product (of course these people want to sell more of the product to me and create high tech laboratories to achieve this without me realizing it).
They are almost always packaged with full of plastic and waste.
All this processed food is dead, there is no life in it (making it very easy to store in the long run and easier to make a lot of money with).
...
Can I never eat this?
This is not what I say. If I like them so much, make my own experience. Make them from whole food vegetables or fruit. It gives a lot more fun, I know what it contains, I can adjust my own taste perfectly to my personal preferences, it tastes different, it tastes a bit cleaner, it is a bit healthier and I can't consume as much of it, because it requires a greater effort. Easy, effortless access is something that industry anticipates a lot on. And guess what, it works, if I don't know or understand the above.
By distancing myself from all the processed food, I provide my body with ingredients it knows (from nature), I like to make my own food (don't underestimate this, everyone is jealous if someone brings their own home made food) and I reduce the enormous waste of especially plastic very bad for the planet (since without packaging, I can buy whole food vegetables or fruit in bulk).
Which processed foods will you eliminate tomorrow?
(If you are desperately looking for an alternative to your processed food, make sure you reach out to me, I can give you some clues.)
When I tell people that, my discovery with my changing eating habits is the best thing that has ever happened to me, I often hear that it is something that only works for me. On the one hand I agree, because as I have explained before, everyone is unique, now on the other hand, I don't find my life so special or different from that of others.
I give some clear information and let the reader judge!
The picture above really shows, how I feel different in 2002 than in 2018. I feel completely better and very rarely wear sunglasses, something a doctor once told me I should wear all my life. It feels also like I've gone in the other direction than I'm used to seeing and feeling better as I get older.
Who I ‘AM’, how I feel or what fascinates me, can be read on this blog, and so in this post I will try to explain who I 'was'.
9 years after 1 brother and 1 sister I was born as a little offspring.
No wonder that in these circumstances (the last one) I was spoiled and had everything I needed (and probably wanted).
I was addicted to refined sugar.
I had quite often (sometimes a little later, it felt like I needed more quarrel before I succeeded) the same things as my friends had (clothes, skateboard, bmx, mtb, toys, game consoles.......).
A motorcycle was out of the question (with a creative approach together with friends from bike, to bike+motorcycle, to motorcycle).
At the age of 22 I bought a motorcycle.
I have always eaten bread for breakfast (sometimes corn flakes), bread for lunch and meat + vegetables + potatoes for dinner.
I started working in a sales function.
Leave the parental home at the age of 22.
Got a company car.
Married.
Bought an apartment.
Moved to a house with garden.
Got children.
At the age of 35 desperately looking for something.
That something else for me today was of course a change (as Albert Einstein said - We can't solve problems by using the same way of thinking as when we created them) and certainly with what I've discovered so far, a real life.
So from my point of view I lived a rather traditional life and many things I find so special today, had no meaning for me then, as I describe here.
The real big change I made was to change my eating habits, the rest is of course history and can be read on this blog.
I've read a lot of books about the law of attraction. And I strongly believe that if I really think about something I want badly, I may at some point in the future draw it to me. The price and the sacrifices I have to make for it could be high, now I could really attract it.
Did it never happened, that I was looking for a new car that I could buy in the future and from that moment on, I see that car everywhere. What has changed? Only my point of view and from that moment on, I see it all at once! Amazing, right?
Personally I believe that if I want something, I can have it, now I am often not ready to pay the price for it and so I don't get it. Knowing that, there are some things I don't get because I don't really want to, otherwise I pay the price and do them.
Of course I can also be afraid of the unknown and prefer to stay in the usual situation.
For me, food is one of those very sensible subjects in that respect.
I know a lot more about it today and I am very disturbed that the world is not taking more measures in that direction.
That it all seems right that I eat such an unhealthy processed food, that it is completely legal to sell and that it is even subsidised.
They don't want it?
Why don't we take action against eating meat, knowing what weight it has for the environment?
Why not stop subsidising farms that hurt animals on a large scale?
Should I conclude that the majority of people do not want that?
I can't accept that, I know everyone has it in him to be good, to be compassionate, to stop hurting each other, to stop hurting animals, to stop hurting the planet.....
When I look at all the current movements, I see it.
Here I already mentioned some small changes that can be made;
